Here are the two roundtable discussions that took place during the summit:

The Art of Arts Journalism

National Public Radio arts and technology correspondent Laura Sydell hosts a discussion with two arts journalists. Seth Schiesel is the first staff video game critic of The New York Times and previously covered technology news. Jeff Chang is an author, journalist, and winner of several honors, including the American Book Award and the Asian American Literary Award. Transcript here.

The Business of Arts Journalism

András Szántó, director of the NEA Arts Journalism Institute in Classical Music and Opera at Columbia University and former director of the National Arts Journalism Program, hosts a conversation between someone from the for-profit publishing world and someone who is a leader in the foundation world. Richard Gringas is the CEO of Salon.com, one of the first online magazines. Deborah Marrow is the director of The Getty Foundation. Transcript here.
